We have cleaned gutters recently at Grange in Bathamtpon. Most of the parts of the gutter system was blocked and filled with leaves and large piles of moss.
Moss can damage roofs and gutters in several ways. First, moss holds moisture against the roof, which can lead to rot and deterioration of the shingles or other materials. Moss can also clog gutters, leading to water buildup and potential leaks. This can cause a huge problem when it comes to gutters being blocked. Moss is very thick and with added rainwater, it can get even thicker due to the fact it absorbs the water.
We removed it all and cleared out every part of gutters, so the water can flow smoothly down the pipes. Also, we were fortunate to have a lovely weather today without any rains.
